Waterproofing membrane applied before tiling

Bathroom Renovation

What a full renovation involves

We take the room back to the frame, make the substrate good, set the falls, waterproof it properly, then tile, grout and seal. One team from start to finish, so nobody is waiting on anybody else and there is nobody to blame if something is missed.

  • Strip out and rubbish removal included
  • Substrate repaired and falls corrected before waterproofing
  • Waterproofing to the wet area, left to cure properly
  • Wall and floor tiling set out from the centre
  • Grout, silicone and a full clean down at handover

Once the room is stripped we check the frame and sheeting for water damage, because there is almost always some around the shower. Anything soft gets replaced. Then the floor is screeded to fall towards the waste, which sounds obvious but is the step most often skipped in older bathrooms.

We handle the trades between us and keep the room moving. You are not chasing a tiler who is waiting on a waterproofer who is waiting on a plumber.

At handover the room is cleaned down, the silicone is cut in neatly at every internal corner, and you get told how long to leave it before using the shower.
